<i>Grain Growers' Guide</i> (1908-1928) is described as "the most important publication of the early farm movement." (<i>The Encyclopedia of Saskatchewan</i>). It was first published by the Grain Growers Grain Company (G.G.G.C.) under the editorial leadership of E.A. Partridge, one of the founders of the farming cooperative. From vol. 21, no. 7 (2 April 1928) to vol. 29, no. 5 (May 1936), issued under the title <i>Country Guide</i>, which continues to be published in Winnipeg by the United Grain Growers. -- In [1936], merges with <i>The Nor'west farmer</i> to form <i>The country guide and Nor-west farmer</i>. These publications - <i>The Nor'west farmer</i>, Winnipeg: Nor'west Farmer, 1882-1936 and <i>The country guide and Nor-west farmer</i>, Winnipeg: [s.n.], 1936-1942 - are described separately in the bibliography.
